Patna High Court yesterday (Feb 01, 2005) extended by another three months the provisional bail of RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) supremo and Railway Minister Laloo Prasad in a disproportionate assets (DA) case.
Justice S K Singh granted Laloo's prayer for extension of his provisional bail for another three months and fixed April 29 as the next date for hearing.
The court passed the order after hearing P N Pandey for the RJD president and standing counsel for the CBI Rakesh Kumar.
The DA case charges Laloo Prasad with accumulating wealth worth over Rs 42 lakh disproportionate to his known sources of income when he was Bihar Chief Minister between 1990 and 1997.
