TDP worker shot dead by naxals in Warangal dist

Hyderabad: A TDP (Telugu Desam party) activist was shot dead by the Maoist in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh early today (Feb 02, 2005).

The naxals, who suspected the TDP worker Narayana to be a police informer, went to his house in Yedullapalli village and shot him dead, police said in Hyderabad.

The ultras held Narayana responsible for an encounter in the district recently, police added.
