Train-tractor collision: Death toll mounts to 55

Ramtek: Two more persons have died in collision between Nagpur-bound Ramtek local and a tractor-trolley near Kanhan, taking the toll to 55, police said today (Feb 04,2005).

The mishap, that had occurred at Borda unmanned level crossing yesterday (Feb 03, 2005), had also left 22 persons injured. All the victims belonged to the tractor-trolley.

The injured were admitted to Mayo Hospital in Ramtek and a private hospital in Kamptee, police added.
