A compensation of Rs 1 lakh would be given to the families of each of the 55 persons, who were killed in a collision between Nagpur-bound Ramtek local and a tractor-trolley at Kanhan, near Nagpur, according to Minister of State for Railways, Narayan Rathwa.
Announcing this today (Feb 04, 2005) after visiting the injured at Mayo Hospital and a private hospital in Kamptee, he said Rs 25,000 would be given to each of the 14 injured.
