New Delhi: Former Director of Indian Meteorological Department S K Srivastava has been arrested by CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) under the Prevention of Corruption Act, official sources said today (Feb 5, 2005).

The CBI arrested Srivastava late last night after he failed to explain about the alleged disproportionate assets that he had acquired.
