New Delhi: Former Bihar Governor Vinod Pandey died today (Feb 7, 2005) at his Noida residence following a massive heart attack.

Pandey, 72, was also former Governor of Arunachal Pradesh and a former Cabinet Secretary.

His family sources said the cremation of Pandey, who was a bachelor, will be done tomorrow.

Condoling his death, President A P J Abdul Kalam said, "Pandey was an able administrator during his long career as a civil servant and also during his stint in public life as Governor".
