President discharged from hospital after treatment

New Delhi: President A P J Abdul Kalam, who underwent a non-surgical treatment for his fractured shoulder bone, was discharged from the Hospital today (Feb 08, 2005).

The President was discharged from the Army Research and Referral Hospital at 10:30 hrs (IST), a Rashtrapati Bhawan spokesman said.

Kalam was driven to the Rashtrapati Bhawan, he said.

He was treated with a non-invasive corrective procedure for his fractured shoulder at the Army Hospital yesterday (Feb 07, 2005).

The 74-year-old President had slipped and fell in the Rashtrapati Bhavan premises during a walk on Sunday (Feb 06, 2005) and sustained a shoulder bone fracture.
