Kathmandu: In yet another action of defying the ban on demonstrations against Royal coup, about 30 workers of Communist Party of Nepal-United Marxist Leninist (CPN-UML) yesterday (Feb 11, 2005) staged a demonstration shouting slogans against the seizure of power by King Gyanendra on February 1.

The demonstrators assembled unannounced at Ashon in the heart of the business centre of the city late last evening and distributed pamphlets against the suspension of democracy, imposition of emergency and putting on hold the fundamental rights.
