India to hold talks with Pak with sincerity: PM

Bangalore: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today (Feb 12, 2005) said India would approach the composite dialogue with Pakistan with "utmost sincerity" and hoped it would make progress.

Answering a question on Confidence Building Measures with Pakistan, Singh noted that External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh would be visiting Pakistan next week and added, "I still hope that the composite dialogue between the two Governments concerned will make progress".

"We will approach the composite dialogue with utmost sincerity", he told reporters at the Bangalore airport before leaving for Delhi at the end of his two-day visit to the State.
