Ahmedabad:
Delhi police is considering sending to Gujarat Directorate of Forensic Science (DFS), the computer seized from the residence of S A R Geelani, who was acquitted in the Parliament attack and was shot at by an unidentified person last week, DFS sources said last night (Feb 14, 2005).
"Delhi police did contact us regarding sending the computer over for some tests. The matter is under procedure," the sources said in Ahmedabad.
Delhi police had seized Geelani's computer from his house a few days after he was shot at on February 8, while he was going to his lawyer's house in Vasant Enclave in New Delhi.
The police managed to get a statement from Geelani yesterday in which he accused police for the attack.
