Jammu: A surrendered militant was killed and six others injured in a grenade blast in Kishtwar town in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir today (Feb 16, 2005), official sources said.

Some unidentified militants threw a grenade inside the shop of Eijaz Ahmed Bhat at around 11:30 hrs (IST), killing him and leaving six others injured, they said.

Three of the injured were said to be critical and being airlifted to Jammu, the sources added.

Eijaz was running a shop in the town after surrendering.
