Paswan prefers Presidents rule to joining with RJD
Wednesday, February 16 2005 11:44 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, whose party is projected by exit polls as a potential kingmaker in post-election scenario, yesterday (Feb 15, 2005) ruled out joining hands with Bihar's ruling Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) or Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Government-formation in the State and said he would prefer President's Rule to doing that.

Spotlight: Elections 2005

Asked if his party, RJD and BJP have to come together to form Government in Bihar, Paswan told Zee News "in such a situation, we would prefer President's Rule to forming a Government like this".

"We will neither support RJD nor take support from RJD and BJP," he said.
