Auction of Telgi's properties began today in B'lore

Bangalore: Auction by the Income Tax Department of three properties belonging to alleged kingpin of multi-crore fake stamp paper racket, Abdul Karim Telgi, began in Bangalore today (Feb 16, 2005).

Reserve price of the properties that came under the hammer ran into crores of Rupees. IT department has claimed tax arrears due of Rs 11.85 crore from Telgi.
