New Delhi: An associate of Delhi University lecturer S A R Geelani was summoned by police today (Feb 17, 2005) for questioning with regard to the attack on him last week.

Rona Wilson, a member of the All India Defence Committee for Syed Abdul Rehman Geelani, was called by the Crime Branch, which is investigating the case.

She was closely associated with Geelani and pursuing a doctorate degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Last week, another close aide of Geelani, Jitender Singh had been questioned by investigators.

Geelani, who was shot at three times by an unidentified assailant outside his lawyer Nandita Haksar's house in Vasant Enclave last Tuesday (Feb 8, 2005), is likely to be released from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday (Feb 19, 2005).
