Jaipur:
Goa BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) MLAs, who were flown to Jaipur from Mumbai on Thursday (Feb 18, 2005) night to keep the party's flock together till the newly-installed Pratapsinh Rane Government seeks vote of confidence, were shifted to a private farm house after mediapersons continued to hound them at the tourist resort where they were staying.
The "guests from Goa", which included 12 MLAs, were visiting Jaipur to "enjoy holidays" and were shifted to a private farm house on Jaipur-Ajmer road, about 20 kilometers from Jaipur, last night, BJP sources said.
The tourist resort, where they were put up earlier, was mobbed by media persons the whole day yesterday.
The sources refused to divulge the visitors' further programme.
The Rane Government is scheduled to seek vote of confidence in Goa House on February 24 and the group of BJP legislators would be reaching back home in time to attend the Assembly session, they said.
Before going back home they are likely to go to Delhi to meet President A P J Abdul Kalam, the sources said.
