Rabri Devi trails as NDA forges ahead in Bihar Sunday, February 27 2005 11:13 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi was trailing as NDA (National Democratic Alliance) established an early lead over its rivals in Bihar although three of the four results declared till 1030 hours (IST) went in favour of the RJD.
Rabri Devi was trailing her LJP (Lok Janshakti Party) rival Rajiv Ranjan in
Raghopur constituency by over 3000 votes as two of her cabinet Ministers Jagdanand Singh and Mahabali Singh won from Ramgarh and Chainpur respectively.
RJD candidate Pramod Kumar was also declared elected from Bhabhua.
Of the trends available for 51 seats, the NDA was ahead in 19 and one BJP candidate, Rameswhar Prasad, won from Nokha constituency. While JDU candidates were leading in 12 constituencies, those of BJP were ahead in seven.
RJD is leading in 12, LJP in five, Samajwadi Party (two) NCP and CPI (one each) and independents in eleven.
State president of Samajwadi Party Dadan Singh, a sitting MLA, is trailing in Dumraon.
Bihar RJD president and Minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui is leading in Bahera.
