Mumbai: Gutka baron Jagdish Joshi today (Feb 28, 2005) said he had received threats from gangster Ravi Poojary since last three days and had sought police protection.

Talking to reporters before entering MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) court, which had issued non-bailable warrant against him, Joshi said the gangster had left behind his telephone number and the matter had been reported to police.

Joshi said the threatening calls had been received by his son and he had informed police about this.
