Patna: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today (Mar 1, 2005) decided to extend support to a secular Government to be led either by the RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) or any other combination in Bihar.

BSP general secretary Azad Gandhi told reporters that BSP supremo Mayawati had written a letter to the Governor Buta Singh extending her party's support to a secular Government.

Asked whether it meant that the party, with two MLAs, would support the RJD in its bid to form the Government, Gandhi said RJD was also one among the secular parties.
