New Delhi: Angered over the formation of Shibu Soren Government in Jharkhand, the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) is expected to consider all options of protest including boycotting the entire Budget Session of Parliament or disrupting its proceedings for a few days at its parliamentary meeting on Thursday (March 3, 2005).

The Opposition alliance was expected to continue with its programme of sloganeering and protest inside both the Houses on Thursday as well, NDA sources said.

Meanwhile, a high-level meeting of NDA leaders at New Delhi on Wednesday (March 2, 2005) evening, convened by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, expressed apprehensions that the Jharkhand experiment would be repeated in Bihar as well.

The leaders felt the need to aggressively counter the Congress "game plan" both within and outside Parliament.

TDP (Telugu Desam Party) leader K Yerran Naidu and NDA convener George Fernandes were among those who attended the meeting.

Some leaders expressed concern over Speaker Somnath Chatterjee's "partisan attitude" towards the Opposition.
