'NDA may boycott Budget Session of Parliament' Wednesday, March 2 2005 22:03 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
New Delhi:
Angered over the formation of Shibu Soren Government in Jharkhand, the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) is expected to consider all options of protest including boycotting the entire Budget Session of Parliament or disrupting its proceedings for a few days at its parliamentary meeting on Thursday (March 3, 2005).
The Opposition alliance was expected to continue with its programme of sloganeering and protest inside both the Houses on Thursday as well, NDA sources said.
Meanwhile, a high-level meeting of NDA leaders at New Delhi on Wednesday (March 2, 2005) evening, convened by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, expressed apprehensions that the Jharkhand experiment would be repeated in Bihar as well.
