Bhajan Lal resigns as Haryana Congress president

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Bhajan Lal has stepped down as president of Haryana unit of the party soon after his archrival B S Hooda was made the State's Chief Minister.

Sources close to Lal said the veteran leader has faxed his resignation to Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
