Panaji: Pratapsinh Rane Government in Goa today (Mar 4, 2005) won the vote of confidence in the Assembly.

In the voting on the confidence motion the result was 16-16 tie in the count of heads and the casting vote of the pro-tem speaker Fransisco Sardinha went in favour of the Government clinching the issue.
