Call for withdrawal of files from Bihar CM's office Monday, March 7 2005 11:42 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

With the term of the Bihar Assembly expiring last night (Mar 6, 2005), Chief Secretary K A H Subramanian called for the files from the offices of caretaker Chief Minister Rabri Devi and her Ministers.
"I have directed the secretaries of all the departments to take back the files from all the Ministers in the Rabri Devi Government," Subramanian said.
In reply to a question, he said he had also written to the principal secretary to Rabri Devi to return all the files to his office.
The chief Secretary said that he would issue a separate circular today (Mar 7, 2005) withdrawing the facilities, including the vehicles and telephones allotted to the Ministers.
"I have issued the orders as the term of the house expires today," he said yesterday.
