New Delhi:
Railway Minister and RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) chief Laloo Prasad today (March 7, 2005) stayed away from the Union Cabinet meeting saying he did not want to approve imposition of President's rule in Bihar.
"I am not going to the Cabinet meeting as my party has been opposed to imposition of President's rule in the State, especially after the people have given their verdict and RJD has emerged as the single largest party," Laloo told reporters in New Delhi.
The Minister said he was leaving for Patna tonight.
