Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren yesterday (Mar 7, 2005) allotted the important Home portfolio to Deputy Chief Minister Stephen Marandi as he distributed portfolios among his Council of Ministers.

Besides, Home, Marandi would look after Welfare, Personal and Administrative Reforms department, an official release said in Ranchi.

Girinath Singh has been allotted Parliamentary Affairs while Kamlesh Kumar Singh has been given Water Resources, Panchayat Raj and NREP.

Bandhu Tirkey got Road and Building Construction departments.

Job Manjhi would look after Tourism, Social Welfare, Women and Child Welfare and Rural Development while Anapurna Devi is Minister without portfolio.

Soren has kept 26 departments with him including Finance, Energy, Law and Commerce.
