Rozario nominated as Anglo-Indian member to J'khand

Ranchi: Alfred George De Rozario was today (Mar 9, 2005) recommended as the Anglo-Indian nominee to the Jharkhand Assembly by the Shibu Soren-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Cabinet.

The recommendation would be sent to Governor Syed Sibtey Razi, Cabinet secretary Aditya Swarup said.

Spotlight: Elections 2005

The Jharkhand Assembly has 81 elected members and one nominated member from the Anglo-Indian community.

Rozario has the voting right.

He belongs to McClueskiganj in the State.
