Thirty-seven Jharkhand MLAs, including five Independents who have been staying in Rajasthan, today (Mar 10, 2005) left for Ranchi by a chartered plane ahead of tomorrow's (Mar 11, 2005) floor test in the State Assembly.
The MLAs, accompanied by senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders Rajnath Singh and Ananth Kumar, left in an Air Deccan chartered plane at 9:10 hrs (IST) from Sanganer airport, 15 kms from Jaipur, party sources said.
These MLAs were staying in Sunrise Resorts and a private farmhouse on Sikar-Ajmer highway since March 4 The Supreme Court yesterday (Mar 9, 2005) advanced the trial of strength by four days to March 11 virtually staying the Shibu Soren Government's move to nominate an Anglo-Indian representative to the Assembly.
