Ranchi: The NDA (National Democratic Alliance) Government in Jharkhand would seek the vote of confidence on March 15 in a rescheduled programme, Chief Minister Arjun Munda said in Ranchi today (Mar 13, 2005).

Speaking to reporters after the swearing in ceremony of Pro-tem Speaker Karia Munda, the Chief Minister said tomorrow nomination for the Speaker's post would be taken while the election for the chair would be held on March 15 - the same day when the trust vote would be moved.

Munda said the rescheduling of the business in the House necessitated following delay in sending the minutes and programme list of the Assembly session to Raj Bhavan. The Cabinet meeting last night was also held late, he added.
