Haryana Govt effects major bureaucratic reshuffle

Chandigarh: In its first major bureaucratic exercise after coming to power, the Bhupinder Singh Hooda Government in Haryana yesterday (Mar 13, 2005) issued transfer and posting orders of 54 IAS officers with immediate effect.

G Madhavan, Financial Commissioner (FC) and Principal Secretary (PS), printing and stationery and inquiry officer has been posted as FC and PS, revenue, consolidation and inquiry from April 1 after the retirement of Veena Eagletion on March 31.

Senior IAS officer B D Dhalia, FC and PS, development and Panchayat and secretary, BSC and Commissioner, Gurudwara elections has been posted as OSD, Manpower Planning vice Asha Sharma, an official release said in Chandigarh.

Asha Sharma has been posted as FC and PS, cooperation vice P K Chaudhary, who goes as FC and PS, Electronics, Information Technology, Industry, Mines and Geology department.

Rajeev Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Jind becomes director and joint secretary, public relations and cultural affairs department, the release said.

Sudhir Rajpal, on return from Union Government, becomes Deputy Commissioner, Gurgaon and Chairman Sheetla Devi Shrine Board, Gurgaon vice Anurag Aggarwal.

Ashok khemka, presently OSD, Rules, department of administrative reforms, will be the new Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal vice H S Malik, it said.

Shrikant Walgad, Project director, Urban Development Department and State urban development society will be the new Deputy Commissioner, Bhiwani relieving D D Gautam.
