Suicide attacks if CBMs bypass Kashmiris: JKLF Thursday, March 17 2005 17:37 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

JKLF (Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front) Chief Yaseen Malik today (March 17, 2005) alleged that Indo-Pak Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) were bypassing the Kashmiris and warned if this continued there could be more suicide attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
"How can India expect to reconcile with them if the Kashmiri people are not involved in the peace process," Malik, a militant-turned-peace activist, said.
"I'm here to ask them (India and Pakistan) to respect their trust, otherwise they will turn fidayeens.
Malik was in the national capital to inaugurate a two-day photo exhibition of the signature campaign in the Kashmir valley to demand independence. All separatist parties have distanced themselves from this campaign.
Pakistan High Commissioner Aziz Ahmed Khan, S A R Geelani and author Arundhati Roy were among those present at the exhibition.
