Friday, March 18 2005 12:46 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: The House of Elders today (Mar 18, 2005) had a brief but hearty interlude over use of condoms.

It all began during Question Hour with former Health Minister Karan Singh wanting to know whether the Government was shy of promoting use of condoms.

"The Government is not shy of condoms," replied Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss.

"Who is shy?" asked septuagenarian Chairman Bhairon Singh Shekhawat.

"Are you shy?" the Chairman asked turning to a member, bringing the House down with laughter.
