Munda Cabinet expansion to be held on March 24

Dhanbad: Chief Minister Arjun Munda today (Mar 21, 2005) said that the Jharkhand Cabinet would be expanded on March 24.

Munda, who arrived in Dhanbad from New Delhi, said that talks are on with leaders of both the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) and Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) regarding the expansion of his Ministry on March 24.

Spotlight: Elections 2005

The Chief Minister said that as the five Independent MLAs supporting his Government have been made Ministers so in the expansion the JD-U and BJP leaders only would be sworn in.

He said that the Assembly would also be convened on March 24.

Munda, was sworn in as the Chief Minister on March 12.
