Chennai: A mild tremor was felt in Harur and Krishnagiri areas of Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu today morning (Mar 22, 2005).

There were no reports of any damage, the police said.

Confirming the tremor, sources at the Seismological unit of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the tremor was of 'mild intensity' and of the magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale. It was said to have occurred at 07:20 hrs (IST).
