Jharkhand Ministry expansion to be next week: Munda

New Delhi: Jharkhand Ministry will be expanded next week, Chief Minister Arjun Munda said in New Delhi today (Mar 25, 2005) after meeting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president L K Advani.

Munda, who ruled out appointing any Deputy Chief Minister, asserted that there was no problem in formation of the Council of Ministers.

"The expansion will take place on March 29 or 30," Munda told reporters in New Delhi.

Asked about the post of Deputy Chief Minister, he said, "There is no such tradition in the State."

He maintained that formation of Ministry would be a smooth affair and claimed that all Independents associated with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) were happy.
