Hyderabad: Maoists shot dead a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) activist and killed a Congress worker in two separate incidents in Andhra Pradesh, police said in Hyderabad today (Mar 26, 2005).

The ultras shot dead TDP activist Chinna Yellaiah in Nalgonda district suspecting him to be a police informer and killed a Congress worker Parvathalu at his house at Mannanur village in Mahaboobnagar district last night (Mar 25, 2005), police said.

Meanwhile, a report from Ananthapur district said four maoists were arrested in a combing operation while 10 naxals, including two minors, surrendered before a senior police official yesterday.
