Bangalore: Over 500 major jewellers will take part in the Karnataka Gold Festival 2005, to be held in Bangalore from April 4 to May 25.

Organised by the World Gold Council and the Art of Jewellery magazine, the event would coincide with the Ugadi and Akshaya Tritiya festivals, besides the wedding season, World Gold Council vice president K Shivram told reporters.

Actress and Singer Vasundhara Das has been signed as the brand ambassador for the event, officials said.
