Tuesday, March 29 2005 19:11 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: President A P J Abdul Kalam today (March 29, 2005) emphasised that both India and Pakistan should focus on development, economic co-operation and more regular exchanges between their youths on a sustained basis.

Developments in Indo-Pak relations came up for discussion when former Pakistani Prime Minister Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain called on the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan leading a 14-member delegation.

During the 30-minute meeting, it was stressed that there should be a concerted joint effort to fight the common enemy - poverty, Rashtrapati Bhavan sources said.
