Islamabad:
Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf would pay a three-day visit to India from April 16 during which he will hold talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and watch the last one-day cricket match of the Indo-Pak series in Delhi on April 17.
Musharraf would be visiting India from April 16-18, ruling PML-Q (Pakistan Muslim League- Quaid-e-Azam) party Secretary Mushahid Hussain told reporters in Lahore yesterday (Apr 3, 2005).
Hussain, who was part of a Pakistani Parliamentary delegation headed by former Premier Shujaat Hussain, which visited India last week, said Musharraf's trip would provide an opportunity to the two sides to discuss various issues.
The delegation's visit paved the way for "meaningful interaction" between Musharraf and Indian leaders, Hussain was quoted as saying by 'The News' daily.
