Houston:
US-based fans of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan are in for a visual treat, with a retrospective of his films being screened in New York this month (April).
The Lincoln Centre will showcase eleven of the Big B's films, namely 'Zanjeer', 'Anand', 'Abhimaan', 'Namak Halal', 'Amar Akbar Anthony', 'Agneepath', 'Aankhen', 'Dev', 'Aks', 'Khakee' and 'Black' from April 8 to19.
Bachchan is expected to be a part of the event on April 15 to talk about his movies in an interaction with the audience.
Clips from some of his most-loved performances would be screened and the actor would be taking questions from the audience during the interaction.
"Bachchan is extremely thrilled that the US is paying homage to him in this way," the actor's spokesman and advisor Sunil Doshi said.
The films to be screened during the retrospective have been selected by the actor's wife Jaya Bachchan and Uma Da Cunha, an expert on Indian films.
They will be later screened at the Smithsonian Centre in Washington.
