Srinagar: Militants today (Apr 6, 2005) attacked a building in Srinagar, where passengers of the inaugural Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus have been lodged and there were reports of some civilians being injured.

The Tourist Reception Centre building was on fire and security forces have cordoned off the entire area.

One of the two militants who carried out the attack has been killed by the security forces and all the civilians have been evacuated of the building, a senior BSF official on the spot said.

The militants fired gunshots and threw grenades while launching the attack.
