'Stop terrorism to normalise relations with Pak' Friday, April 8 2005 09:43 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Aurangabad:
Relations with Pakistan cannot be normalised unless the neighbouring country stopped encouraging terrorism, Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray said in Aurangabad today (Apr 8, 2005).
The Sena chief was addressing a rally to canvass support for Sena-BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) alliance candidates for local municipal corporation elections scheduled for April 10.
Thackeray also condemned yesterday's attack by terrorists at the tourist center in Jammu and Kashmir where passengers for the inaugural Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service were lodged.
The Sena supremo also criticised the "red-carpet" treatment planned for Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf's visit to India, as that country had not stopped its support for terrorism in Kashmir.
