15 Iraq soldiers killed by roadside bomb in Baghdad

Baghdad: A roadside bombing killed 15 Iraqi soldiers and wounded several others this morning (Apr 9, 2005) in Latifiyah, 40 kilometres south of Baghdad, a Defence ministry official said.

The bomb blew up at 07:30 hrs (local time) (09:00 hrs IST) as a convoy of Iraqi troops passed through the town, the official said on condition of anonymity.
