'Govt not possible till JDU parts ways with BJP' Sunday, April 10 2005 10:17 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
New Delhi:
The blame game over the issue of Government formation in Bihar continued today (Apr 10, 2005) with Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) President Ram Vilas Paswan saying a new dispensation cannot be in place till the JDU (Janata Dal United) parts ways with BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party).
When asked about his reaction to senior JDU leader Nitish Kumar accusing him of "ditching", Paswan said, "I don't know what happened and what he (Kumar) has said".
"If JDU decides to severe its ties with BJP and agree for a Chief Minister from the minority community, not necessarily from my party, Government formation is not a problem at all", Paswan said.
On efforts to install a Government in the State, he said he was not against it but would continue to maintain his stand that the Chief Minister should be from a minority community and JDU snap its ties with BJP.
