Highlights of agreements signed by India & China Monday, April 11 2005 22:31 Hrs (IST) - World Time -  New Delhi:
Following are the highlights of India-China accords signed today (Apr 11, 2005):
- Agree to make mutually acceptable adjustments for package settlement to the boundary question.
- Due consideration to each other's strategic and reasonable interests.
- National sentiments and practical difficulties to be taken into account.
- Avoid holding of large-scale military exercises in close proximity along the Line of Actual Control.
- Both agree to strictly respect and observe the Line of Actual Control and work together.
- Enhanced economic engagement.
- Information and intelligence on new Customs law enforcement techniques to be shared.
- Major liberalisation of air links.
- Export of grapes from India to China to be facilitated.
- Setting up regulatory mechanism to facilitate export of bitter gourd.
- Launch of India-China financial dialogue.
- Building of hydrological station by the Chinese side on the Sutlej/Langqen Zangbo river before the flood season of 2006.
- Promoting bilateral exchanges in entertainment sector including films - feature, documentary and animation.
- Construction of Indian style Buddhist temple on the western side of the White Horse Temple in Luoyang in China.
