'Sudarshan's charge against Brajesh Mishra absurd' Wednesday, April 13 2005 08:27 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
New Delhi:
Reacting sharply to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief K S Sudarshan dubbing him as one aligned with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Brajesh Mishra, former principal secretary to Atal Bihari Vajpayee when he was the Prime Minister, yesterday (Apr 12, 2005) said that the charge was "absurd, concocted and meaningless".
"Anybody who knows me knows that my loyalty to Vajpayee has been there and will be there," he told 'Aaj Tak', describing Sudarshan as a "narrow-minded person who can be easily swayed by what people tell him".
Asked whether Sudarshan had some personal issues with him, Mishra, who was the National Security Adviser (NSA) during the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government, said, "If Sudarshan hates me then it is his wish."
Mishra also dismissed allegation that Vajpayee's foster son-in-law Ranjan Bhattacharya had interfered in the functioning of the NDA Government during Vajpayee's stint as Prime Minister, a release from the TV channel said.
