Ahmedabad: Zaheera Sheikh, the prime witness in the Best Bakery case, will be cross-examined before the two-man Godhra inquiry commission in Ahmedabad today (Apr 13, 2005).

Zaheera, who was earlier issued summons by the Commission comprising Justice (Retd) G T Nanavati and Justice (Retd) K G Shah, would be cross-examined by advocate Mukul Sinha, Commission sources said.

She would be cross-examined in connection with the affidavit filed by her before the Commission in March 2002.

Zaheera has changed her statement in connection with the Best Bakery case on more than one occasion and is under Supreme Court scrutiny.
