New Delhi: Concerned over poaching of big cats, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh last night (Apr 13, 2005) constituted a five-member task force to review the management of tiger reserves in the country.

The task force, which will be headed by Director of Centre for Science and Environment Sunita Narain, will suggest measures to strengthen tiger conservation in the country and to improve the methodology of tiger census and forecasting, a Prime Minister's Office (PMO) spokesman said.

The task force will submit its report within three months.
