New Delhi: Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf today (Apr 17, 2005) expressed happiness over his talks with Indian leaders and said that these were moving in the "right direction".

Talking to reporters in New Delhi after attending a lunch hosted by President A P J Abdul Kalam, he said that the talks (with Indian leaders) were held in a "positive atmosphere" and with an "optimistic note".

The Pakistan President said that the entire gamut of issues including Kashmir was discussed.

Musharraf said that he was happy with the talks, which were moving in the "right direction".

Asked about the progress in the talks so far, he left it to mediapersons to judge for themselves from his remarks.
