Indian Army is second largest in world: Gen Singh

Belgaum: Indian Army is the second largest in the world and technically well equipped and qualified and one of the best in the world, Chief of the Army Staff General J J Singh said in Belgaum yesterday (Apr 17, 2005).

He was speaking after inaugurating the scientific session lecture hall "anubhav mantap" of KLE hospital, Belgaum.

"We will always fight to win and win in a decisive manner," he said.

The Belgaum Army training centre will double the its present strength in the near future, he said.
