Gutka case: Dhariwal appears for forensic tests
Monday, April 25 2005 17:20 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Ahmedabad: The owner of Manikchand Gutka, Rasiklal Dhariwal, who is accused of having links with the underworld don Dawood Ibrahim by the CBI, today (Apr 25, 2005) presented himself before the Directorate of Forensic Science (DFS) in Gandhinagar, sources said in Ahmedabad.

Dhariwal presented himself before DFS in the morning after CBI said that he would have to undergo forensic tests, they said.

Talking to mediapersons before going in for the tests, Dhariwal said, "I do not have any underworld link and I am prepared to undergo the tests".

The DFS would conduct lie detector, psychoanalysis and brain-mapping tests on Dhariwal in the coming days, the sources said.

Earlier, J M Joshi, owner of Goa Gutka, also presented himself for similar test in Gandhinagar.

Both Dhariwal and Joshi are alleged to have links with Dawoood Ibrahim gang for the sale of gutka manufacturing machine and setting up a factory at Karachi in Pakistan.
