Court martial proceedings of Anjali Gupta adjourned

Bangalore: The court martial proceedings by the Indian Air Force against IAF woman officer, Anjali Gupta has been adjourned till April 27.

Gupta, an officer in the administrative wing of Aircraft Systems and Training Establishment (ASTE) in Bangalore has been charged with indiscipline, insubordination and also delinquency and fraud.

Gupta facing the court martial, the first against a woman officer since April 12, has also filed a complaint against two senior men officers on charge of harassment.

She has approached the Karnataka State Commission for Women and the State High Court for redressal.

Notices have already been issued by the Karnataka High Court to the CBI and the Bangalore police on a petition by Gupta seeking an enquiry into her charges of sexual harassment by her superiors.
